Hi

Yesterday, a member sent a pm to another member but somehow it ended up in my message account. Since then, i forwarded the message to the sender and sent them a pm myself referring to this, but even though they have been online since they do not seem to have seen my messages because they are still in my outbox. Also, i sent a message to another member whom i often pm but they dont seem to have noticed it either because they have been online since too and yet that message is also still in my outbox.

There's nothing wrong. If the message is in your outbox, it only means that it hasn't been read.

I have my account set to show me a popup whenever I get a PM. I don't know for sure whether phpBB does that by default, but I know for a fact SMF doesn't and I don't think phpBB does and so even though someone may have been online since you sent them a PM, it's quite possible they didn't even notice.

A3HANL is absolutely correct. It is most likely the party didn't notice they had a new message. It's also possible the person's inbox is full. We have a 50 message limit, so new messages are held back until the user deletes some messages and makes some space available.

Once again, there is nothing wrong with the mail system. Karljhenri sent a message to funbarbie and he also sent it to "ALL REGISTERED USERS" so everyone got a copy. If most people replied, it probably over filled his mailbox.
